Account information: name, email address, and password when you sign up
Business information: business name, address, phone number, website, and category
Payment information: billing details processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers
Content you create: AI snippets, keywords, and schema markup you generate in the platform

Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform
Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address
Cookies: session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for your settings

Information from third parties

Google: when you connect Google Business Profile or Search Console, we receive OAuth tokens and the data you authorize us to access
Stripe: payment status and subscription information

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the GEOrankHQ service
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, password resets)
To generate AI-powered content on your behalf using the Anthropic API

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate GEOrankHQ:

Supabase — database and authentication hosting
Stripe — payment processing
Anthropic — AI content generation (your prompts are processed but not stored for training)
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — web hosting and CDN
Google — OAuth and API services (only when you explicitly connect)
Perplexity, OpenAI, Google — AI citation checking queries (business name and keywords only)

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records for 7 years).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access: request a copy of your data
Correction: update inaccurate information
Deletion: request deletion of your account and data
Portability: export your data in a machine-readable format
Objection: opt out of certain types of processing

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GEOrankHQ, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using GEOrankHQ on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. The Service

GEOrankHQ provides tools to help businesses optimize their visibility in Google search and AI-powered search engines, including schema markup generation, AI content creation, citation monitoring, and keyword tracking.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date
We offer a 14-day free trial on all plans — no credit card required

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service to generate spam, misleading content, or content that violates any laws
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the platform without written permission
Use automated scripts to scrape or abuse the platform
Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair GEOrankHQ's infrastructure

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your business data and any content you create or upload. By using GEOrankHQ, you grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the service.

AI-generated content (snippets, schema) is provided for your use. We make no warranties about its accuracy or suitability for any specific purpose.

7. Third-Party Integrations

GEOrankHQ integrates with Google, Stripe, Anthropic, Perplexity, and OpenAI. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that affect the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

GEOrankHQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific rankings, citation outcomes, or business results. AI search engine behavior is outside our control and results may vary.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GEOrankHQ's total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the Billing tab. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
